Sam Studio is one person — design and development both, no handoff between departments that don't exist. I work directly with clients in Benin and remotely. My approach starts from what a site actually needs to do for the people using it, not from what looks impressive in a screenshot: clear over clever, usable over decorative — and everything in the work section is something I actually built, held to the same standard whether or not anyone paid for it.
What I care about
Four things that don't change from project to project.
Honesty
Every project in the work section is labeled exactly what it is — Concept, Personal, or System. Nothing here pretends to be client work it isn't. What ships for you gets held to that same standard, without needing an inflated portfolio to prove it.
Accessibility by default
Keyboard navigation, real contrast, visible focus — built in from the first line of markup, not patched in before launch because someone asked.
Bilingual done properly
When a project needs French and English, both get their own real pages at their own web addresses — not a script swapping text after the page loads.
No dependency I can't explain
Every line of code behind the work here can be read and accounted for — not a stack of libraries nobody fully understands, mine included.
How I work
Every project follows the same shape, whatever the size: a brief that pins down what we're actually building, a design direction decided once and carried through consistently, a build with nothing left half-finished, and a handoff you can maintain without me.
